What are laminates?

What is laminates used for?

Laminates are versatile surfacing materials used in a variety of applications. What is the difference between a laminate and a veneer?

Laminate is a paper based product, where in multiple layers of paper are fused under high temperatures and pressure in presence of acting resins to create a highly aesthetic, strong, textured solution to enhance the beauty of the interiors. Available in woodgrains, stones, jutes and plain solid colors as well.
Veneer is a thin layer of wood or other material that is glued onto a solid backing, such as plywood. A veneer is often used on furniture because it makes the overall appearance more elegant and refined.

What is a Thermoset Panel?

Thermoset panel is manufactured by fusing Polymer sheets at very high temperatures and pressures. It’s a highly durable surface solution of 1.5MM thickness which allows us to take the surface finish texture to a next level by enabling us to implement deeper grains. Its highly water resistant as well.

What do you mean by LRV?

LRV stands for Light reflectance value, ie. It indicates the proportion of light that a surface reflects compared to the amount of light that falls on the surface. Higher LRV means more light will reflected from the surface. Gloss surfaces have higher LRV, whereas Super MATT has lower LRV. The recent trend of low LRV surface solutions instills a sense of calmness and sophistication in the interiors.

What does a Synchro mean?

Synchro is the synchronization of the grain pattern of the design paper and grain pattern of the texture. These are made by custom textures plate designed specifically for certain designs patters to create highly aesthetic, premium, veneer like surface finishes.
